What we collect

When you book an appointment or contact us, we collect the details you give us — your name, phone number, email, and information about your vehicle and the service you need. We use this only to schedule your visit, do the work, and keep in touch about it.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we send you service-related text messages about your visit. Opting in is optional — you check a box when you book on our website, and you can complete your booking without it. You can see the exact opt-in checkbox and wording on our Text Message Opt-In page.

• What we send: appointment confirmations and reminders, a message when your vehicle is ready, occasional maintenance reminders, and a request to review your visit. These are service messages — we don’t send marketing or promotional texts.
• Frequency: varies with your visit.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or HELP for help.

We never sell or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

How we use your information

• Book and manage your appointment.
• Do the work and keep service records for your vehicle.
• Reach you about your visit by phone, email, or — if you opted in — text.

We do notsell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

When we share information

We share your information only with trusted providers that help us run the shop — a database and authentication host, an email sender, and a text-message provider — and only so they can deliver these features on our behalf. They are not allowed to use your information for anything else. As noted above, your mobile number and SMS opt-in are never shared for marketing.

Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work — for example, keeping staff signed in to the admin area. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your booking and service records for as long as we need them to serve you and maintain your vehicle’s service history, and as required for our business and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices & rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email logicalautomotive@gmail.com or call (801) 266-9600. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us; reply HELP for help.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Browser extension (Logical Automotive — Instant Quote)

We publish a private browser extension, “Logical Automotive — Instant Quote,” used only by Logical Automotivestaff on shop computers. It speeds up estimates by reading labor times and parts pricing from the shop’s own AllData subscription and filling them into our internal quoting tool.

• It reads vehicle and pricing data from the shop’s logged-in AllData account and places it into our admin page. This happens on the staff member’s computer.
• It does not store any data — it has no storage permission. Vehicle and pricing data exist only while the quote screen is open and are discarded when the page is closed. The extension only ever talks to my.alldata.com and logicalauto.com.
• It does not collect personal information from customers, does not sell or share any data, and does not transfer data to any third party or developer server. The data is used only for the single purpose above.

Our use of any data obtained through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. AllData and ALLDATA are trademarks of ALLDATA LLC; this extension is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ALLDATA LLC.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
